A boutique gem near Mykonos' beautiful Ornos Beach, with traditional Greek décor and a sparkling pool

The Lowdown

We’re not usually ones to follow the crowds, but when it comes to Mykonos, we’ll make an exception. Greece’s Cycladic hot spot deserves its popular reputation, thanks to its iconic whitewashed towns, sandy beaches and must-see sunsets. Boasting its own Blue Flag beach just minutes from its front door, Dionysos Boutique Hotel Mykonos is a lovely four-star retreat that takes its name – and its commitment to hospitality – from the Ancient Greek god of revelry. Kick back island-style in cool white lounges made for cocktail sipping and in comfortable, cream-colored rooms, just moments from Ornos Beach. Back to that Greek hospitality, you’ll enjoy delicious al-fresco breakfasts each morning, too. This is just one of the highlights here, alongside two outdoor pools, an outdoor Jacuzzi and a fully equipped fitness center. And don't forget the wine – after all, Dionysos was also the Greek god of wine...

Rooms

Rooms here are bright and welcoming, thanks to elegant white décor and high-end furnishings. Premium Pool View rooms provide 270 square feet of space and lovely views of the pool, while Deluxe Sea View rooms are a bit larger, at 290 square feet, and feature impressive sea views. Both room types can be configured with one king and one single bed, or three single beds.

Location

At just 164 feet from the Blue Flag-awarded Ornos Beach, Dionysos Boutique Hotel Mykonos is perfectly placed for sunbathing. From this sheltered bay, where sailing boats drop anchor at night, you can also catch a taxi-boat shuttle to the south-coast beaches of Paradise and Super Paradise. Regular buses can also connect you to Mykonos Town.
